Jake is a therapist with a robust foundation in mindfulness-based practices, grief support, and trauma-informed care. Informed by his personal journey, Jake believes that cultivating authenticity and intuition can be a powerful catalyst for healing. He has experience facilitating groups and working with individuals throughout the lifespan. Jake emphasizes the interconnectedness of humanity and nature, recognizing the profound meaning that experiences in the natural world can offer. His therapeutic approach integrates mindfulness-based therapies, logotherapy, Polyvagal Theory, and person-centered principles. Jake also acknowledges and thoughtfully incorporates the potential impacts of systemic, historical, and generational trauma into his clinical practice. In his free time, Jake enjoys birding, hiking and playing outdoors.
