Mike has spearheaded initiatives in environmental & projects-based learning programs as a public high school and elementary school teacher for the last 10 years. His passion for mentoring is rooted in a deep appreciation and understanding that the natural world and ecological process are fundamental to who we are as individuals. He believes we can discover and nurture our most authentic selves advocating for personal growth and participating in ethical care of the planet. His focus is on cultivating connection and inspiration through the relationships we are all capable of discovering and maintaining by learning from organic rhythms found within us and all around us. Mike is passionate about hiking, camping, kayaking, canoeing, playing guitar, native plants, organic food production, biking/cycling, running, swimming, gardening, meditation, and general holistic health strategies.
