Stephanie comes to Trailhead after working as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant at a state psychiatric hospital for over 15 years. Her calm presence and fun demeanor have been effective in engaging a wide range of clients, from children and adolescents to adult men involved in the forensic mental health system. Stephanie’s background in occupational therapy drives her client-centered approach of using meaningful activities to promote well-being in all areas of life. She loves to teach new skills, recognize personal strengths, and celebrate small victories with all clients. Stephanie believes in the benefits of positive psychology principles and engagement in one’s environment to improve life satisfaction and empower clients in their recovery.
